8.00 (good) Haven't seen the entire series in anime yet, but the story in the manga is a very intriguing one. You don't see very many demon concepts made into a well thought out and made anime/manga these days and I have very high hopes that this show will continue to wow me even with the seemingly slow pace the manga takes at times.

9.75 (excellent) The story of two teenagers attempting to fulfill their dreams of becoming manga creators is very satisfying because it is not the usual kind of story you would see from Shonen Jump. You know you have a great series when you can take a ordinary story like this and turn it into something so compelling and intriguing.
Very well developed characters and amazing art!

8.00 (good) A nice story about an all-girls Kendo team that strives to be the very best following a Kendo teacher that has food and his bills more on his mind than Kendo. A fun story with some great and very unique each in their own way characters and a simple to follow plot that can really suck you in. The ending falls a little flat, at least to me, but it was still a very good story.

9.00 (very good) Very good plot, the OVA does a very good job of connecting the two worlds of the school life and black rock world together in an intriguing and compelling way. My only complaint would have to be that this wasn't meant to be just an OVA, it felt very cramped and I think there is a lot of plot lines here that could of been expanded on in a anime series.

7.75 (good) Typical mainstream battle anime/manga, but still has some good points. The battles themselves are very cool and fun to watch, but the rest of the story can be very predictable. Also some characters could have been developed better including the main character Ichigo.

Great battles, typical story, OK characters

9.50 (excellent) Insanely awesome! One of the best anime of all time!
Fantastic and unique story filled with very well developed and unforgettable characters and a well made space/futuristic setting.
This is a must watch for any anime fan that has had the misfortune of not watching this yet.

9.75 (excellent) Very intriguing and interesting. Very good mind battle that occurs between the main characters, this series proves you don't need over the top battle elements to create a great battle and rivalry, and the music and visuals blend into the atmosphere of the anime very well.
Only complaint is that the anime slows done in the middle of the series and is a lot less interesting until closer towards the end.

7.00 (above average) I have a lot of fond memories waking up early on Saturday mornings and watching new episodes and enjoying all of them. Saying that I really believe that the very young demographic are the only ones that can really enjoy this show because it's just too empty for older audiences. Fun plot similar to pokemon, but thats it.

8.50 (very good) A great anime filled with lovable characters, and very unique setting, and intriguing plot.
The characters are well made and the story takes all the members of the Fairy Tale Guild out on some exciting and sometimes outrageous quests with the next one never the same as the last.
Definitely a few levels above your normal fantasy battle anime/manga.

8.50 (very good) A very weird and whacky anime, but still fun to watch regardless. Each episode is hilarious and interesting, but the plot and scenes seem to shift around too often and quickly so it can be hard to keep up with at least the first time around. It's a damn shame the series was so short because I was just really getting into it before I realized that it was coming to an end.

7.00 (above average) Very cool and intriguing battle manga. The story is hard to follow at times and there is a little too much fan service throughout, but the battles are very entertaining and sometimes gruesome, and the characters are very well made.

Very well done story with many great emotional moments from hilarious to depressing, and will keep you sucked in and wanting more the entire time.
Can't really find anything solid here to complain about, I highly recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of manga and or anime. Great watch and or read!

9.25 (very good) A great zombie anime/manga that takes and great deep look at how this apocalypse has changed the way the people think and act now that the world seems to be ending which helps make the mood of the show more dark. A lot of great action and very gruesome, too much fan service but still highly recommended for zombie fans and dark story fans as well.

Last Updated: Nov 04, 2011

8.00 (good) I got into this manga after reading a couple chapters of it in Shonen Jump, the story is a unique twist on the usual plot of good vs evil.

Artist Hiroyuki Takei teams of with american comic book writer Stan Lee to create a story about a war between good and evil and which one is ultimately stronger. The war participants are karakuridouji (mechanical boys) that are created by a genius scientists form the future who desires to know what is stronger between good and evil and each one represents one aspect of either good or evil. These mechanical boys are sent out to different parts of time and are given to human masters that must teach their mechanical boy about what good and evil really is.

After several years all the masters of the past are reincarnated as their past selves are are reunited with their mechanical boy who are all destined to fight to figure out which is stronger, good or evil.

A cool new twist on the usual good vs evil plot line with a good blend of comedy and drama with some great visual battles.

8.25 (good) Great romance manga that is not overly cheesy and has great romantic moments. The manga depicts the characters emotions very well and the struggle of making a tough relationship work while opening up to each other about their past as to become closer to each other.
One of the better romance manga out there to read.

6.00 (average) Very similar too other romantic comedy anime and manga, but it still has some very sweet moments and hilarious moments as well. The plot is very whacky and shifts a lot from chapter to chapter so there is a lot going on form time to time, but each character is unique and has their own reasons for chasing after the main character.
Typical romantic comedy, but still worth at least one read through.

Great characters, awesome battles, superb setting, and a very intriguing plot that can keep you coming back for more until the end! There isn't much here not to love here, a must watch for any anime fan!

Nightmare of Nunnally

6.25 (average) A bold re-imagining of the Code Geass story with a new twist. After losing her mother and the ability to walk and see, Nunnally only had her brother Lelouch left but after Britannia takes him away too Nunnally, among rage and despair, obtains a geass of her own and with it challenges the empire.
A unique twist to the story people have come to love, it is an interesting side story that is worth a read through. Fans of Code Geass should have an enjoyable story to read.

8.00 (good) The story is very interesting. The initial plot of the main characters solving the mystery of what happened to the Earth in the future is very cool, but later in the story I think the story all of a sudden becomes way too much about the fighting as opposed to solving the mystery. In the end the only way to solve the problem seems to be to beat up the bad guys which is far too predictable of an ending. Overall it was still very enjoyable and had an engaging plot.

8.25 (good) Certainly not a harem type anime or manga that you would usually think of. A great plot revolving around how the main character attempts to survive after accidentally enrolling into a monster school as he attempts to keep the ladies at bay. The manga is better than the anime in my opinion, but still a great watch. The characters are great and well made, very cute and sexy <3, and the setting is something very unique.

Rurouni Kenshin

10.00 (excellent) Most of this review comes from reading the manga, but I have to say this is my favorite manga/anime of all time. It is very old, but has a lot of good merits. The manga is a very good combination of sword play, romance, comedy, and historic reference all rolled into one. Great read and or watch!

For best experience though, I would highly recommend the manga over the anime.

Samurai Champloo

8.75 (very good) Combining modern hip-hop with historic Japan reference seems like a combination that would fail in any other case, but this series pulls it off beautifully! Each character is very unique and different from each other creating some great scenes and the battles are very well made and exciting to watch. The show has a great balance of comedy and drama and each episode is interesting and fun to watch.

Shuffle!

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Nov 02, 2011

6.00 (average) Typical harem anime that has a slow start, but gets a little better as the anime goes on. The anime becomes really twisted and more depressing as the story approaches near the end as each girl reveals their own sins and sadness that the main character helps them to overcome.
The twists were unpredictable so cu dose to the creators for trying to change a harem anime up a bit, but in the end it just made everything more depressing and when the story finally ended, it ended in the typical harem anime fashion you would expect from other similar anime.

Suzaku of the Counterattack

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Nov 02, 2011

5.00 (moderate) This side story looks at the series through a unique prism, presenting the battle between Suzaku and Lelouch in a whole new way. The story has a unique approach to the main story, but is very short and doesn't have much re-readable content to it.
If you are a fan of Code Geass and or of the character Suzaku than this story is a cool way to see the story in a different way, but is really only worth one look at.

The World God Only Knows

8.50 (very good) Not the usual harem anime that people have come to known. The plot becomes more interesting and enjoyable because the main character is a Sim Date gaming god that hesitates to deal with anything that involves the real world. The personality of the main character brings unique conversations and situations into the anime that is not seen anywhere else.
Very good, very promising anime.

9.00 (very good) Probably the best harem type anime out there!
The female characters are very cute and interesting and the episodes are all each outrageous and entertaining in their own way. My only complaint really is that the ending feels rushed, this series could have continued and still been interesting. It may be slightly embarrassing to say, but I definitely rank this series among my top 10!
